Mennonite Weekly Review

When I was growing up we used to jokingly call leftovers 'Mennonite Weekly review', in reference to a weekly publication of the same name. A few weeks ago they published a short article about web logs (shameless thanks for the link).

If you're curious they also have a lengthly list of Mennonite-related links.

Congrats. What constitutes a "rock star" in the Mennonite community? ;)

Half the ten blogs they have listed in the article's sidebar are written by the same guy, Ross Bender. Maybe Mennonite blogging is not taking off as quickly as they think. Or they need to do better research, and get a more representative sample.

Interesting... I hadn't looked at them closely enough to recognize that.

Although not essentially something you could call an "official" blog, the Canadian "Mennonite Herald" has a variety of Mennonite and Non-Mennonite "Bloggers". You might want to check it out for topics on religion and anything else that catches your fancy.
