Commercializing Innovation

Great class. Lots of work. Recommend highly.

Lots of interesting cases, all in some way personally connected to Professor Meadow - so the 'inside' scoop adds a fun dimension to the material.

sounds awesome. does this class require any pre-reqs that I should plan on taking in the fall/winter quarters?

Jeremy,

I am planning to take Commercializing Innovation too. Could you tell us about what some of the cases are about? Is the learning from the cases directly applicable to new ventures?

Alator,

Cases range from retail, services, high-tech, healthcare, etc. The overall content of the course is very applicable to anyone who thinks they might want to be a VC or ever get VC money for a venture.

It's also helpful for the New Venture Challenge (NVC) class - although the amount of work might be tough.
